Cyber Risk & Commercial Crime Underwriting Manager, Camargue
With several degrees to his name, Ethan Pitts could be described as an academic, a purveyor of knowledge with a passion for learning. Ethan studied at the University of Witwatersrand (WITS), graduating with his Bcom – majoring in Law, HR and Insurance & Risk Management in 2015. A year later he completed his Bcom (Hons) in Insurance & Risk Management.
A beneficiary of the Camargue Bursary, Ethan launched his career at Camargue in 2016 while he was studying – first in the Financial and Professional Lines division and later that same year moved to the Commercial Crime and Cyber Risks division where in June 2017 was appointed as an Underwriter. A man with big dreams, He says that every new economic venture relies on the protection offered by insurance and he wants to use it to help facilitate the next generation of innovators to reach their dreams; pushing boundaries of human innovation and allowing for development to grow undeterred.
