The Postgraduate Diploma in Management specialising in Corporate Governance (PDMCG) is offered by the Accountancy Studies at the School of Business and Economics, Monash South Africa. The PDMCG is a 1 year online course with compulsory contact sessions twice per annum.
Entry Requirements
Undergraduate degree in business or accounting or an equivalent qualification from an accredited university or other tertiary institution.
Course Modules
The course comprises of eight (8) core units and no elective units. Students will do four (4) units per semester over one year. The program involves satisfactory completion of coursework. The units are:
1. Ethics and Business Ethics
2. Corporate Governance
3. The legislative environment to corporate governance
4. Board matters
5. Leadership, directors and officers
6. The combined assurance model
7. Strategy, stakeholders and risk
8. Financial, sustainability and integrated reporting
